Elsevier BV published the 2021 version of the list of most influential researchers in the world, prepared by Stanford University. The "Most Influential Scientists in the World" list consists of scientists in the top 2%, in "career-long influence" and "yearly influence (2020 studies)" categories, 22 fields and 176 sub-fields.

Prof. Vasıf Hasırcı and Prof. Nesrin Hasırcı, Founding Director and Vice Director of BIOMATEN, respectively, and current members of the Center's Advisory Committee are among the 32 METU members on this list. We congratulate them and wish them continued success.
