Prof. Vasif Hasirci and researchers at BIOMATEN have been performing studies on biodegradable bone tissue implants for the last 3 decades. Earlier studies at METU were recently followed up at the Biomaterials Center at Acibadem University and the project "Patient-Specific Biodegradable Bone Implant Production by 3D Printing" was found eligible as a Pilot Clinical Study to test on 6 patients under the 2023 Ar-Ge-01 call for proposals by Health Institutes of Türkiye (TUSEB). We congratulate the team, and wish them continued success.
