Ozlem Altintas Yildirim, Ph. D. student of BIOMATEN member Prof. Caner Durucan, has received the 2015 Best Thesis Award of the METU Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences with her thesis titled "Synthesis of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles by Aqueous Methods and Effect of Metal Incorporation on the Structural/Functional Properties of Nanoparticles". We congratulate her and Prof. Durucan, and wish them continued success.
